Expression of Interest (EOI)

City of Wetaskiwin Archives 

The City of Wetaskiwin invites proponents to submit an Expression of Interest from potential partners interested in managing the City’s Archives. EOIs gathered from this process will help the City determine if there is an external organization interested in the management of the City’s Archives function.

We are now in the second phase of this process; Phase 1 closed on June 23, 2022. Only proponents who have submitted a letter of interest in Phase 1 are invited to submit in Phase 2.

All questions are to be forwarded in writing by email to the records management/FOIP coordinator at juanita.jeavons@wetaskiwin.ca by 4 p.m. on August 2, 2022. Questions received after this date will not be responded to.

EOI Phase 2 timeline:
Phase 2 opens on June 29, 2022, at 2 p.m.
Archive site visits: July 5, 2022, at 2–4 p.m.
Inquiries close: August 2, 2022, at 4 p.m.
Phase 2 closes, submissions due: August 9, 2022, at 4 p.m.
Presentation to administration: August 16, 2022
Presentation to city council: September 26, 2022
Finalization of archive review and management structure: TBD

Requests for Proposals (RFP)

Community Recreation and Facilities Naming Rights: Civic Centre - Twin Arenas and Drill Hall

The City of Wetaskiwin invites proposals from parties interested in securing naming rights for the Civic Centre facility located within the City of Wetaskiwin.  Secondary naming and sponsorship opportunities include: the Drill Hall, arena 1 and 2, and arena dressing rooms.

Requests for Quotation (RFQ)

The City of Wetaskiwin is committed to traffic safety and, as a result, is looking for a contractor to paint various long lines within the city limits. The City of Wetaskiwin is requiring the following lines to be painted this fall.

    8,332m - white dash lines with spacing of 3m-6m 10cm wide lane lines.

    297m - white dash turn lane 20cm 3m-3m for turn lane.

    274m - white solid line turn back from the intersection 20cm.

    7,507m - solid white shoulder lines 10 cm.

    1,470m - double solid yellow 10cm/10cm/10cm.

    8,522m - single solid yellow 10cm.

    1,395m - yellow dash lines with spacing of 3m-6m 10cm wide centre lines.
