Will I still receive a paper utility bill every two months?: Yes. You will still receive a paper invoice every 2^nd month so that you can keep track of your utility account. We are still looking into paperless e-billing, and will let you know when we have more information about that service.

1. When can I sign up for monthly payments?: Any time! You can sign up at any point throughout the year. The City of Wetaskiwin utility office will assist you throughout the sign-up process.

2. Does the monthly payment program automatically renew every year?: Yes. The monthly utility payment program will renew automatically each year unless you call the utility department to cancel your subscription at 780.361.4453.

3. Will I still receive a paper utility bill every two months?: Yes. You will still receive a paper invoice every 2^nd month so that you can keep track of your utility account. We are still looking into paperless e-billing, and will let you know when we have more information about that service.

4. How much would I pay each month?: It will vary from person to person. The amount of your monthly payment will be calculated by averaging the previous 12 months of your utility usage.

5. Will my payment amount change every month?: No. Your payment amount will be the same each month and will be withdrawn automatically from your bank account on the same day each month.

6. What if I use more water some months and less water other months?: Your payment amount will be based on an average of your previous 12 months of usage. Some months when you are not using as much water, you may have a small credit in your account. This credit will be carried forward and will help to offset any higher water usage during months when your consumption is higher.

7. What if there isn't enough of a credit on my account from my installment payments to pay for my whole utility bill?: You will be responsible for paying any invoice amount over and above what your monthly payments cover. If there is still an amount owing on your account after your monthly payments have been applied, that unpaid balance will be subject to a 3% penalty if no payment is forthcoming.

8. Will my payments be adjusted every year? How will I be notified if anything changes?: Any adjustments to your monthly payment amount will be made once per calendar year. You will receive correspondence notifying you of any changes at this time.
